Our Vision

We believe that the creative arts add value to a community by enriching the cultural lives of residents and providing for individual growth and expression. The creative arts offer opportunities for all residents to work together to achieve these goals.

The Creative Arts Resource and Network of Western Racine County   [CARaN]  seeks to empower adults with disabilities to collaborate with artists and other residents to develop a vibrant local art scene that respects and and encourages the contributions of all of it’s community members.

CARaN  provides  a location where adults with disabilities, their families and neighbors can participate in art studio workshops such as pottery making, digital photography, canvas painting and sculpture.  CARaN will sponsor events such as Gallery Nights as  well as provide gallery space for local artists to exhibit their art.

Our Mission

CARaN of Western Racine County is a community based arts organization that encourages adults with developmental and physical disabilities to achieve their highest  creative potential through participation in the creative arts within their local community.
